At the beginning of the year, thirty-four were enrolled, but four students transferred, and the other dropped because of illness. Basketball Coach Low Sophomores: One of the most enjoyable activities of Mr. C'arpenter's advis- ory was the fall party which was a joint affair with the Low Sophomore girls. LOW SENIORS Although the Low Senior Class is the smallest in the school, its members have been active in their own way in many school activities, under the guidance of their advisor, Professor Smith. The class has been well represented in athleticsp for its members have been on the football, baseball, track, basketball, and tennis teams. The girls, too, have been well represented in qirls' athletics, and one member of the class is Secretary of the G.A.A. They also boast the secretary of the Girls' League. The class meets once a month and discusses many subjects of common interest. The girls went to Alum Rock Park last year and went swimming and hiking. A Christmas party was held by the girls with each girl bringing a present costing under ten cents. The boys have a basketball team that usually wins its games. Baseball is another sport in which they are interested, and every year they go to Seals' Stadium on O'Doul Day. Most of the boys are lettermen.
