Cara Cooper displays the popular styles - an Izod shirt, sunglasses, and a denim skirt. Along with the preppy look, bow ties are in fashion. Yogi Neeclum and Allison Pennell display the popular tuxedo look for 1983. To top it off, hats become a latest fad as shown here by sophomore Michelle Hebdon. Total I Tubular Awesome - usually referring to a time, e.g. The weekend was awesome. see: excel- lent and radical. Bag it - get rid of it. It's really gross. Forget it. Bodacious - fun, great time. see: radicalg e.g. The dance was a bodacious one. Bodily - extremely good looking. Casual - simple, easy and offhand. e.g. That chick walks so casual. Excellent - the best of anything, first- classg e.g. The yearbook staff is totally excel- lent. Fer-sure - totally all right, absolutely agreeable. Gnarly - wild and crazy, the weirdest it can get, e.g. The Mountain View football team is gnarly. Hot - usually describes something greatg e.g. The car was totally HOT! Jammin' - cool, totally all right! see: awe- some. Junior - one down, one to gog an excel- lent individual. see: jammin'. Like - use in place of or, and, or butg e.g. Like, like, I like him, but he's really not my type. Massive - of great quantity. The most something can be. N0 Biggie - not of great importance. Doesn't really matter. Partier - one who lives for the weekend. Radical - totally amazing. A way great time, e.g. After the game we had a way radical time. Riot - having a good time. see: junior. Senior - one who has finished twelve years of school and is ready for bigger and better things. see: ultra. Sophomore - has now entered the first step of adolescence. looks up to other class- men. see: No Biggie. Totally - the whole thing. everything included was great. see: To-the-max.
