f . yrzcu fare Below is shown the National Award-winning team of Mountain Home which is composed of Dwain Hawkins, Robert Dahlke, and Leroy Hammock. This livestock judging team won the state judging contest last spring, which entitled them to go to Kansas City in October, 1954, and participate in the judging con- test. Out of more than 40 teams competing, this team was one of the top seven that won a Gold Emblem Award which is the highest honor a team can receive. At left is a woodworking project. fs A 6 -Q. iii' The F,F.A. chapter has 56 active mem- bers this year. OFFICERS are: Dwain Hawkins, Presidentg Robert Dahlke, Vice Presidentg Milton Dahlke, Secretaryg Leroy Hammock, Treasurerg junior Deaths-rage, Reporterg and Curtis Brooks, Sen- tinel. Among other things the chapter is work- ing on Swine improvement, and has two Regis- tered Duroc Boars. four Gilts, twelve feeder pigs and maintains a pig chain. xg w. J.
