As one of their progects the first year home economics students made dolls for needy children at Christmas Phyl lis Matthews and Connie Morris are shown working on their dolls A program showing how Christmas is celebrated in various lands was presented by the speech and music departments. Joyce Lee Sherman was nar- rator for the event, and original speeches on the different countries were given. Sissy Baker repre- sented England, Janette Pitts, Mexicog Ella Har- graves, The Holy Land, Mary Sue Bowling, France. Other countries were also represented. Mrs. Dick- erson and Mrs. Yerby were in charge of the program.
