Annual Staff Little did we realize when these pictures were taken that someday our paths would cross and that we would be graduating together from Mountain Grove High School. Now our paths have entwined to form everlast- ing friendships that can never be broken. During the time that has elapsed since these pictures were made, we have learned several things. One of the main things that we have learned since that time is how to work and play together. We learned this when we started to school our very first year Each year since, we have broadened our know- ledge in this field. When we started to high school Cmany of us here at HGHSD we had a chance to work and play with a greater number of students than we had associated with in grade school. All of us have had an oppor- tunity to work and play with each other this year. Our senior year has been a good year. We've worked hard and we've played hard. Above all, we've been able to know each other. Lasting friendships have formed while we have been working and playing together. Clockwise, top center Bonnie Parmenter, Lois Reese, Clarlene Dedmon, Nancy Marshall, Barbara Turner, Warren Steelman, Ecb Cowdeh, Cleora Sherrell, Edsel Yeager, Don Wilson, Beverly Eastin, Grace Alsup, Roberta Blacksher, David Boring. 2s,gufz2-f fl ..f.' u 2 2 W5 ATN' G f Y . Under the leadership of Mr. Houck, our sponsor, we have promoted school spirit, sponsored activities and elections, and above all have helped to make M. G. H. S. the great school she is. The students of M. G. H. S. can be proud of their 1952-1953 Student Council. What could be more rewarding and give us more satisfaction than to look back upon a task well done? We seniors who were selected as members of the Ozarkian Staff have attempted to compile a yearbook that you might treasure in the years to come. We have had lots of fun preparing it, but we must confess there were moments when we feared our courage was lagging as we ,K an gg., neared the Wzeron hour for production. see 5 Each of us had a specific duty, but we aff? 5 i never forgot that Eg Work and Pla! 227 Age? f gether. f ' ' 'I 6 edgy, i.- , ,V 4 wx, -' JL W f e 1 N. 1 ,K XF: ti!
