Seniors The time is finally here for those timid, inexperienced eighth graders of 1975- 1976 to become the proud, responsible graduates of 1980. Of different lifestyles heritages, and beliefs, these ninety-one seniors have experienced a pervading sense of oneness and loyalty as they have come together to work for many common goals. Amid the hardships of term papers and physics tests, amid the joys of fun night and homecoming, these seniors have faced one ever-present, ominous factor change. Neither the rules of grammar nor the laws of physics can prepare one for the emotional stress and perplexity that the reformation, alteration, and fluctuation called change can bring. But Mount de Sales has taught the seniors of 1980 to exercise an adaptability that will enable these young adults to conform to and to perform under the auspices of change. The experiences etched onto these yearbook pages can only mirror a small portion of the growth, the maturity, and the change shared by these seniors. When the experiences, the relationships, the faces, and the names of the Class of 1980 have begun to fade away, the feeling of oneness and hope will live on in one conglomeration of nostalgia called—a memory.
