It is the fifth year of publication along with our fifth graduating class. ' The students who worked on the early issues are now gone from our campus, leaving a heritage of pleasant memories that are evoked each time I open one of the books. many of our former graduates return to renew acquaintances and to see the progress as we expand and develop. A yearbook becomes more treasured as the years go by and help to identify familiar faces no longer on the daily scene. The Class of 1970 has been a good one, and the two year period marked by achievement in the classroom, on the playing fields and courts, and much progress toward our new campus. I trust that the future will bring to each of you many of God's blessings and benefits, and that in some small way we have made a contribution to your future. Come back to see us often. And it compels one to glance back at what is known as the turbulent Sixties - a remarkable decade. You commenced your studies with us toward its end but nevertheless embody the spirit that resided in college students of this era. You are inquisitive, compassionate, demanding, bright as a dime and concerned not only with your community but the world! We at Mount Wachusett Community College could only hone these attributes as our resources allowed. But we are quite proud of you - for what you brought with you to the College and what you are taking with you as you leave. For we see quite clearly that we have changed and we see society changing through your leadership.
