By encouraging a knowledge and appraisal of the thoughts and accomplishments of man- kind, the Mount Vernon faculty give their stu- dents greater insight into their own natures that they may better comprehend the present and prepare themselves for the future.

FACULTY Mount Vernon is fortunate in having a fac- ulty of men and women dedicated to their profession and possessing the desire and ability to guide their students towards a thorough understanding of themselves, of others, and of the world about them.
