Neal, J. Walker. THE WRESTLING TEAM CONTINUES TO GROW The Mt. Vernon matmen completed their second season marked by some good and bad features. The whole bad side of the season was Mt. Vernon's failure to win a meet. This, however, does not tell the whole story. Considering their lack of experience and the youth of the team, a better showing could not have been asked. Despite their record, there were many good features of this years season. One of these was the eager partici- pation and growing interest of the team and student body, Mt. Vernon discovered many fine prospects for future wrestlers on the 1957-58 squad. Fine coaching by Mr. Reed along with the determination of the boys produced many individual Winners. As the team continues to gather experience and the fine potential of the Wrestlers is realized, Mt. Vernon will be able to boast of a Champion Wrestling squad. Considering the inexperience of the tea.m, Mt. Vernon can be very proud of the fine efforts of the coach and team of 1957-58. RST AM LEFT TO RIGHT: Coach, K. Reedg Manager, D. Bowmang J. Walker, D.
