I am glad of this opportunity to make a formal expression of my thanks for the excellent work done by the 1953 Annual Staff, its sponsor, and all those students who assisted in the completion of this fine annual. This Annual is an expression of the united effort behind the many fine achievements of our school. The willingness of each student and faculty member to shoulder his responsi- bility in every school enterprise is sure evidence of our future success, And to the new members of our student body and faculty, as well as to those who have been here in years past, I extend a most hearty welcome.
