The Lawrence Washington Chapter of the National Honor Society was organized to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, a desire to render service, to promote worthy leader- ship, and to encourage the development of character throughout the entire student body of the school. This chapter is composed of members of the junior and senior classes. Each individual is selected on the basis of his service to the school, leadership, character, and scholar- ship. Our year began with a tea given for the new members and their mothers. The installation of officers began a very eventful F.H.A. week.
