As a matter of necessity, the January edition was prepared for the printers in five days. As a final tribute to the graduates, the last edition of the paper was dedicated in full to them. Miss Ossie Trimmer, Sponsor. Getting copy ready for a newspaper was no small job, and our Em Vee Hi staff had its problems. Much work and many headaches was the cry to be heard by all. Since a lack of funds was our major concern we appealed to our capable advertising managers. Their efforts paid off and as a result we were able to print an eight page paper. Our staff was organized into two classes. The first period class, made up of staff editors, were the second and third year journalists. Our school has much to be proud of when our marching band performs. The familiar block letter M is one of the favorite formations of the band during half time football shows. Led by Drum Major Jeanne Rossie and directed by Mr. Gene Steinbach the marching band has appeared in many outside activities in neighboring communities which has helped our school in building its prestige. v BAND AND
