FOREWORD In our 1950 FORUM we have used the Mount Vernon High School sym- bol, the Yellow Jacket, to introduce the different sections of the book. Our Yellow Jacket is caricatured and finds himself in some amusing situations. Several of the sketches carry out the idea of business, which is the theme of this year's FORUM. The Yellow Jackets were all drawn by Donna Mintier, and the FORUM staff and JACKET JOURNAL staff drawings were made by Brenda Olson. Most of the photographs were taken by Bill Ferguson. The FORUM staff gives you this book with the hope that you will always remember and cherish your high school days.
