Spink Spearheads Unique Homecoming his years ' Homecoming was packed with new and different activities. One that really fit the description of different was the greased pig contest. Lots of help from the various activity chairmen made the week run smooth- ly. Understanding and cooperation from faculty members was appreciat- ed by everyone involved. Mummie ' s Masquerade was the theme for the Bogi. which brought in a substantial profit for the Girls ' Club. Robin Gilbertson ' s costume creativity honored her with the title of Whitch and Warlock for the third year in a row. Receiving All Northwest honors were John Wetsch. All Area Linebacker. Barry Bartram, All Northwest Defen- sive Back and Carolyn White for Vol- leyball. This was Carolyn ' s second year to receive the honor IQJQ Homecoming Chairman Dick Spink along with his Co Chairman Robin Cilbertson and Vonni Woldcn Helping to make Homecommmg a success were the Homecomming committee members. ASB Sponsors Big Denise Nelson Run o make a story complete, a main character is needed to carry it fro beginning to end. Karen DeHon successfully filled the role of ASB president by presideing over the Judicial Board, Senate, appointing a f-fomcoming Committee and or- ganizing various activities. Among these was the suc- cessful Denise Nelson benefit run. By devoting an endless ammount of energy, she. along with seven other students, fulfilled the responsibilities of ASB officers. Under the watchful eye of Jim Jacobson. director of student activities, the faithful crew accom- plished much to make the ' 79- ' 80 school year a great one. Serving as vice — president. Bill Whitlock was a great asset in keeping the Senate running smoothly. Assuming the of ever — ending job secretary was San- dra Bardsley. Bev Thomas, attorney general, kept law and order in the student body. Treasurer Lizzy Kamb accounted for all ASB funds while Assistant Treasurer Sally Sward helped out. Secretary of Stu- dent Finance Lynn Haglund. assisted by Dave Ham- burg, kept the books straight. Under Al Evans ' super- vision the job was done right. ASB secretary. Sandra Bardsley -ml ASB President. Karen OeHon is as always keeping on top of things. ASB Vice-president Bill Whitlock keeps Senate in order. 30
