Seniors Maria Torres, Tim Hanstad Rule w — ooks Like We ' ve Made It. was appro- t z priately chosen as the theme for the ' ll Senior Ball. That night will be long re- membered by many as a special event. An overcrowded dance floor and waiting in a long line for pictures all proved worthwhile on filling the evening with treasured memories. Maria Torres and Tim Hanstad were chosen by the Senior Class to reign over the dance as King and Queen. For the third year in a row the MVHS Thespian Club sponsored as outstanding Variety Show. This select group of talented individuals proved that practice pays off as they were hand picked by director Mr. Joe Daman. Mr. John Babraitis assisted by leading the stage band. It all came to a conclusion on the night of November 16, with Kobi Grace taking first place singing a composition of her own, Elaine Dixon placed second doing a dance, and Chuong Luong placed third playing his guitar. Maria Torres and Tim Hanstad were chosen as Senior Ball Royalty for the Looks Like We Made It 1979 Senior Ball Newest And Oldest Are Show Favorites lirnok Rogers made a great hit at the Variety Show. An excellent version of an old favorite Who ' s on First was done by Lisa Markley and Paul Quinn 26
