raduating Seniors Finall Realize Fo For the class of 1974, the year was filled with activities and the realization that four years is a short time after all. Aware that the pace of a school is set by its graduating class, the Seniors began by creating a keen sense of spirit that caught up most of the school. Homecoming week Seniors were number one in class competition. November brought the Senior Ball, planned by officers President john Van Pelt, Vice President Fred Knutsen, Secre- tary Peggy Wetsch, and Treasurer julie Walk- er. Early in December college applications were sent, plans were made. Later the school was treated to the Senior Assembly. Months passed, and it was time for replies to colleges, parties, and caps and gowns. Senior year was more of a feeling than a year in school. It was saying goodbye slowly to friends, experiences, and to childhood. lt was a sense of nostalgia at the last football game, our very own Class Assembly, and a last joint effort to get something accomplished. There was excitement in the air, a restlessness to ex- plore other things and to make important de- cisions. lt was the end of today and the begin- ning of tomorrow.
