Possessing a talent in both the fine arts and sports, the class of 1939 will go far. Un September the nineteenth the Freshmen held their first meeting. Uffic-ers for the year were nominated. In later meetings the Frosh were presided over hy Curtis Kirker who was elected president. Un October the twenty-fifth along came the amateur hour in which Gordon Tideman of the Freshman class won first place with his accordian. In February a freshman scored again. Curtis Kirker as the playful Theodore in the All-School Play, Shirtsleeves.
