for MVSHS. Not only did we see another school year go by, we saw the high school itself undergo major changes. We saw the beginning of a 16.9 million dollar renovation project. The work started at the end of the 1985-86 school year and continued through 1987. We saw the relocatable classrooms being moved to the parking lot while the courtyard was completely stripped and relandscaped. The Agriculture, Business, Science, Special Education, Art, and Mathematics departments gained new facilities, and most of the remaining areas were completely refurbished. New construction added to the space used by the administrators and a new cafeteria was built. Although we had to put up with many inconveniences like lack of classrooms, lack of heat, and hallways closed off between classes, it was all worth it. This was definitely a year of change and of building for the future. 10 Conttructlon
