1 SECTIONAL WINNER First row: Trina Tennison. Terri Milne, Angie Handel, Kimi Hellenberg. Robin Stone. Julie Schuessler, Kris Elliot Second row: Rebecca Tucker. Beth BiUer. Debbie Willis, Jill Hall, Patricia Aldrich, Lorri Ashby, Mary Kinsey. Amy McConnell, Ann Fischer, Sharon Koenig. The 1982-83 Vol- leyball Season turned out to be the best winning record in the history of the sport at Mt. Vernon High School. Due to a highly talented group of athletes, teamwork, and much enthusiasm. The Varsity team com- plied a 25-4 record, their first sectional championship, and a second place finish in the Big 8 Confer- ence. I4 SECT10NAL Jeff Pharr was on the wrestling team for four years, and during this time he went to state all four years. He had 100 wins 8 loses 4 ties. He was a four time sectional win- ner, three time re- gional winner and qualified for state competition, but he did not place in the top five. CcO
