The Imaginary Invalid was presented in the Mount Vernon High School auditorium on April 6th and April 7th. 1979. It was first pro- duced at the Palais- Royale in Paris in 1673. It was the last play Moliere wrote. While acting the title role of this farce Moliere died after a bril- lant but too brief career. The setting is the recep- tion room of the Paris house of Monsieur Ardin on two successive days in the middle of the Sev- enteenth Century.
