Vernon High school band- penalized for overtime—finished in 31st place at the Indiana State Fair Band contest Wednesday, 35 points away from winning Madison Heights High school at Anderson. Ten points were sliced from the total score by State Fair judges because the local band performed over the three-minute limit. Director K. V. MINA TV A FAMILJER The R5hnisch family, Mr. Rohnisch, Claes, Mrs. Rohnisch, and Ann- Margret on a ski vacation in Austria. Ann-Margret Rohnisch of Orebro, Sweden is the second student from abroad to attend MVHS through the efforts of the Student Council working in cooperation with American Field Service. Ann-Margret has completed two years in the Swedish Gymnasium, a school comparable to the last two years of high school and the first two years of college in the United States. She has traveled extensively in Europe, speaks four languages, is a Sea Scout, and enjoys playing the piano, skiing, swimming and sailing. At home in Mt. Vernon with the McCulloughs—Dr. McCullough, Peter, Joan, Ann-Margret, Ann, Tom, and Mrs. McCullough.
