Vernon High school band- penalized for overtime—finished in 31st place at the Indiana State Fair Band contest Wednesday, 35 points away from winning Madison Heights High school at Anderson. Ten points were sliced from the total score by State Fair judges because the local band performed over the three-minute limit. Director K. V.
