Never w1ll we forget that flrst Ghostly N1ghtmare' of an all school party' If you th1nk we're always talkrng Just chalk those soapbox tendencles up to the fact that we were gulnea p1gs of speech 1n our freshman year we got an early start Juamta Hamblm was our f1rst ma1d of honor was our next beauty In the 1n tramurals we felt pretty good because we the underdog fresh1es gave the sophs a pretty good beatlng ' Just look at all those cute l1ttle freshman g1rls Thrs was the remark heard from us great b1g sophomores at the beglnmng of the 51 52 school year ' More competltlon grleved many of the femmlne members of our class ' Look at that' shouted the boys We found out that the new bunch of freshmen really get a golng over We maklng some more h1story packed the gym at our donkey basketball game although everyone who rode a donkey was gr1p1ng because he had to buy a tlcket We ren't we frugal? We as Jumors remember how terr1bly hot xt was that day espec1ally s1nce our Jackets and sweaters came and everybody wore h1s Queen Susle Carman re1gned over the football season and were we ever proud' Carla Potter as mald of honor and Della Temple were our Jumors 1n the basketball queen process1on Bang' The magazme campargn was set off and we agam made hlstory We made trlple news 1n that our sales of 3 244 50 set a school record our class was h1ghest 1n the Southwestern area and Jame Green was hlghest salesman 1n the area w1th S423 How proud we were when the BIG TEAM won the county tourney' In the sectlonal we beat Bosse and lost to powerhouse Central Sammy Blankensh1p w1e1ded the gavel to spur us on to one of the best n1ght and the excurslon boat Avalon? Everybody had a wonderful t1me Then came the r1ngs whlch to be dlfferent were concave As usual boys rlngs were hard to f1nd on boys Our padded hard back annual covers are ev1d ence of our or1g1nal1ty ln our sen1or year We all hope to have somethlng 1n between them Our Chr1stmas card and magazlne sales helped greatly 1n flnanclng the annual Remember the cold morn 1ng of the sol1c1t1ng breakfast how we full of good food ran around to all the bus1ness concerns?
