DELEGATES TO GIRLS' AND BOYS' STATE Delegates to Girls' and Boys' State are appointed by the local American Legion upon recommendation of high school teachers. These boys and girls are jun- iors and are sent to the Stale to learn about state government. Girls' State meets at Capital University in Columbus, and Boys' State takes place at Ohio Uni- versity in Athens. GROUP REPRESENTATIVES OE THE S CH O O L HIGH SCHOOL POETS Several juniors and seniors entered original poems in the annual poetry contest sponsored by the Naziozml Association for High School Poetry which is published in California. The winners are pictured below. Seated clockwise: Margaret Shields, Ann Wfack- er, Leah Stamper, Sharon Beckett, Ellen Lord, Linda Severns. Slfzmlingz Ron Darling, Tom Todd, Hugh Hookway. Bob Buker and Norman Tabor received special mention for their poems in the anthology.
