| We ag » pede a ae ag AD ful em SS oS A M A H ib A Oe rae The Mount Union College Theater Department presented the play “California Suite” Feb acter” 20 to 22. ‘ “California Suite,” written by Neil Simmon is a humorous confection divided into four parts — “Visitor from Philadelphia” “Visitor from New York” “Visitor from London” and “Visitor from Chicago”. The show was directed by Mr. Douglas Hendel, and featured Stuart John son, Janice Malay, Eric Vogt, Melissa Nichols, Shawn T. Douglass, Jean Zurbrugg, John Lauretig and Melinda Detrick. GianoCarlo Menotti’s one-act opera ‘“Amahl and the Night Visitors” was presented Jan. 27 to 29 in the Rodman Playhouse. “Amahl” is the story of a poor shepherd boy and his mother who are visited by the traditional three kings on their way to present gifts to the Christ Child, and the miracle that occurs because of their visit. Staring in the show were Aaron Hoff and Mark Torma of Alliance, Laura Walsh, Eric Martin, Richard Schiemer, Charles Hofmeister, Eric Vogt. Dancers and villagers were Patricia Gelmini, Alicia Mayfield, Teresa Beitzel, Martha Fickle, Randy Hart, Kyle Harrop, Amy Lukens, Charla Nitschke, Lisa Schoeppner, Alison Smith and Sally Taylor.
