Registration day to many means old friends and new faces, to others it means back to the old grind, and to some one hundred and fifty freshmen it means a new experience. The first item is the conference with the registrar to plan a schedule, the custom- ary visit to the treasurer's office followed by a trip to the book store to purchase necessary tools of learning. The popularity of the freshmen is surprising as rushing gets under way and pledge buttons begin to dot the campus. Football gets under way with the usual enthusiasm, while the sidewalk coaches make their predictions for the coming season. A coke at the corner and then to dinner. The usual visitation following the meal, a show, the evening smoker, study and then to bed. Registration day should be the realization that we have a task to perform.
