HYDE, DEAN oF MEN In less than a year as dean of the college, Melvin W. Hyde has convincingly shown to a critical student body his ability to do and to accomplish. Firm in his principles and beliefs, he has Won the respect of the student body. Dean Hyde has been sympathetic to customs and ideas new to him, and in the brief time he has been here he has successfully instituted many changes in custom, curriculum, and student life. WILLIAM HENRY MCMASTER Our f'PreXy is to all of. us one grand man. His sense of humor along With his deep ap- preciation of all that is good and fine make him an example for us. Dr. McMaster is our understanding counseller and our benefactor. The father of our one big happy family has such a kind and jovial spirit which makes Mount Union College a most pleasant place to be. His personality is one of never-fail- ing radiance and causes for all Who may come in contact with him to be more happy and all the better for knowing him. When- ever he speaks. he gives to the listener in- spiration to live a better and fuller life. When speaking of college presidents and of real men one has the tops when one speaks of Dr. McMaster. 8
