page ten A Senior Promise Beyond thy shadow, dear old Mount! Forth from thy sacred halls, The way of life imfpels our steps, And time, unfeeling calls. We shrink to go, but thou hast known, And felt so oft before, The parting of thy loved ones dear, That all thy grief is o'er. Another year and thou vvill fold, W'ithin thy loving breast, Another classg and thou wilt mold And build them as the rest. But While thy halls are ever filled, As ever may they beg We'll save for thee our heart's best love And chain our thought to thee.
