Nearly four years has passed since the day when the first instrument was placed in the old hand room. ln that four years the hand has grown and with its growth, improved until it has received praise throughout the entire State. liunthermore it has had requests to play concerts all over this part of California. liy means of lil'U 'Radio Service it has heen heard as far east as Denver. Now that we have come to the end of our wor'k together we one and all join in according the hand activities a premier place in our several years here. Xi- XYe were pleasantly surprised this year when we learned that SINGING we were to have a regular course in singing. Dr. liradiley came up twice a week, and taught us all the old favorites. The fel- lows all turned in a list of the pieces they liked. and Major furnished us each a song' binder containing over Fifty songs. We enjoyed this singing very much and hope to more properly show our appreciation at tfoinmencement. x The Canteen this year began with an early start, for last THE CANTEEN year's canteen money gave us a chance to order and keep ordering to counteract the steady line of waiters The Canteen carried everything from ice cream to peanuts and even the most conservative persons were tempted to sample its assorted delicacies. The committee reports it's year's savings as excellent in comparison with that of former years. -iX As we work on this last of our publications. we realize the work that has been done hy past classes to make The .-Xdviutant a standard means of keeping the Alumni in touch with our movements. This year started with the pep and go spirit, that has put ns through in all of our activities. We now are on what we consider our last and higgest activity of the year, and we hope to make the Alumni realize our endeavors to follow in their footsteps, If this hook brings the .Xlumni nearer the school on this our final year, nothing more can he wished for. l,,-U?L.- NEW YELLS W'e finished off our year with a good stock of yells. liine spirit was shown at the beginning' of the ycar, and we originated and puit into working order two new vells. The yells and yelling' this year was well organized and of great help to the various activities.
