L Music, drama, journalism, art reflect TIME. The Department of Fine Arts is divided in- to four parts: music, drama, journalism and art. The aim of the lVlt. Tabor music depart- ment is to instill in instrumentalists the ability and desire to play good music vvell by adding to their technical and general musical skills. The goal of the drama department is to train a group of students to operate backstage effectively and to perform onstage credibly. The aim of the journalism department is to publish a school paper vvhich has a decided influence on the social and academic happen- ings of this school-a paper that does more than merely reflect what has occurred. The art department strives to capture beauty and transfer it to paper or clay.
