Dear Graduates of l958, You are to be congratulated for the unique theme of your Yearbook, Around the Mount World . It could serve as a future reminder of four years of activity and effort. Although new horizons and an even more mature life lie ahead, these years were not primarily a preparation for life, but rather true living. Each day has been important. Hence, we speak of the sanctity of the present moment . Keep this thought ever before you. To you, who would attempt to Know Thyself , the past four years will indicate the kind of man you now are. Your fortitude, prudence, temperance and sense of justice, have with God's grace, developed. So, too, your Faith, Hope and Charity. Our Holy Father, Pope Pius Xll, looks for youth to be the bright hope of the future. This can only be accomplished if your minds are illumined by the light of the Gospel, your spirits disciplined in Christian precepts, your wills strength- ened by grace. You are now this youth on the threshold of manhood going forth into the market place not to barter, but to justify Christ's faith in you.
