The time we have in each part of our life seems to match the texture of the season - the long, sunny afternoons of childhood - the rush of time and task-filled adulthood - and the reaches of time to savor it all in old age. But surely it must be true that the quality, the richness of each day rises out of the decisions and choices and the use of time we have had in all our earlier days. l One's years of college study are a particularly important and formative time in a human l life - a time that helps one live fully and see the significance of all the other seasons of our life.
