To you, your Alma Mater en- trusts her traditions, her hopes for the future. As Catholic leaders, we urge you to be faithful to the principles which are your inheritance. We beg you to be generous in doing your part in renewing the face of the earth by bringing Christ into every sphere of life and by illum- inating the ways of darkness and paganism with the light of Christian principles. Think often of your Alma Mater and the lessons you learned at Mount St. Mary's. Often lift up your eyes to the hills where you will derive strength and confidence from God who will be your con- stant guide, your unfailing friend.
