OUR FACULTY Dear Seniors, Wisely and prudently have you cho- sen the theme of your year and year- book. Happy are you to have so soon discovered the joy and peace that come to those who make Christ the King the center of their lives and activity, who live and work, as the words of the Mass express it, through Him and with Him and in Him ... In our prayerful wishes for your success and happiness in time and eternity, we cannot do better than exhort you to continue to keep your lives Christ- centered. Dedicate your homes to Him; keep as close as you can to Him and to His Blessed Mother day by day. Con- tinue to make the best possible use of the weapons that made your Army of Youth invincible - — particularly the sacraments and prayer, including the daily Rosary. In so doing, you will have Christ and Mary as your strength and consolation in whatever life may bring you, and the best wishes and brightest hopes of your faculty for each one of you will be realized. flying the standards of truth SENIORS We cannot fly the standards of truth if we do not possess the truth. To find and possess truth, we must seek for it. Here in our senior homeroom we did much of our searching for truth. We planned our Student Co-operative Government in the hope that it would train us in responsibility and initiative; we studied our religion earnestly, discussed it, inquired about it; we delved into Catholic reading in books, pamphlets, magazines, notably our Catholic Digest, which we read every month; we worked out the details of the various campaigns undertaken by our Army of Youth; we dreamed, too, about the final achievement of our high school days. Graduation . . .
