It is the Headmastefs task to formulate the school's policies and to direct their execution. He must make those large decisions which es- tablish the pattern by which the faculty shall fashion us in the mold of Christ, His must be a vision that is broad, far reaching, and minutely observantg a judgment that is clear and bal- anced, weighing the immediate and ultimate consequencesg and a will that is firm and just. resting in the wisdom grown of humility. 'YVe are both proud and grateful that for the past four years we have been under the watchful care of such a headmaster. Primarily concerned with our religious growth, Brother Pastor has not neglected our physical, intellectual, or social training. Rather, with the wisdom of St. Paul, he has striven to perfect and sublimate our natural development with religious purpose-that in all things we might glorify Cod. But day after day, Over a period of twenty-five years. to spend oneself in such service to youth, who in their eagerness and inexperience are sometimes thoughtless and uninindful, is an act that stirs our sense of the sublime. The Superior of the Sisters here at the Mount is today a living exeinplar of such service. Coming here a generation ago. Nlother Facundina has un- stintinglv given twenty-five years of generous, kind, and loving care to the Mount and Mountmen. lt is in deep and humble gratitude, and with pride in her achievement, that we dedicate to her the Blount Tower of 1960.
