DEDICHTICH BRCTHER ERIC, C.F.X. It is to Brother Eric that we dedicate our 1958 Nlount Tower. If any MOllni Brother ever gave us, by his own life. a true picture of Saint Joseph. that is Brother Eric. For seventeen years here at the Nlount he befriended and inspired us, cur older brothers, our predecessors. as teacher, coach and Assistant Headmaster. This year he transferred to another mission in Louisville. The finger of the Lord brought him back to us in February, having touched him with serious illness. He died early in March, at the Nlount he loved so well. This year marked his Silver jubilee as a religious. Some would say he was struck down early. Mountmen who knew him would say he was not struck down, but was raised up-brought tm the Nlount of Transfiguration, rewarded perhaps a bit ahead of his time for his life of manly virtue. W'hile we pause to honor him and pray for him, we are thankful that Brother Eric came back to us to teach us the lessons in his death that he had lived and taught so well in his life. WORLD SHAPER. An old picture shows Brother Eric in his usual role as friend to freshmen. How many times he spoke the heartening word!
