Declidalion As it must to all good things. the tenure of ofhce of our head- master. Brother Oswald, C.F.X., comes to an end with the close of the present school year. As with armies and with nations. so is it with schools: the qual- ities of its leader seep through the entire system. for good or for evil. We at Mount Saint Joseph. in pride and in gratitude. acknowledge by this dedication that the leadership given us has been for the good. For the good of our spiritual. cultural, and physical well being he has greatly enlarged both the scope of our endeavors and the facilities for our activities. Enrollment has increased from the 600 listed in i933 to the 1010 listed in 1913. Renovations within the buildings have modernized the school and eased the pressure of student increase. Industrial Arts courses have been extended by the installation of complete machinery and equipment for drawing. metal, and wood work. An annex to the gym, containing showers and 1000 lockers, has contributed to the elliciency of the newly inaugurated physical training program. A veritable renaissance in music. publications, student activities, and athletics has come about through his encouragement and spon- sorship. It is in recognition of his untiring service to the school. his in- spiring loyalty. and generous cooperation in all activities, that we dedicate to him this 1914 Mount Tower. 6
