This, our yearbook, is a symbol of the many pleasant events we have enjoyed at the Mount cluring this past year. Our theme for The Sheaf of 1959 is the school song, HSPES MESSIS IN SEMINEU. This title, The Hope of the Harvest is in the Seedv, explains the primary aim of Mount Saint Joseph Academy - to nurture the seed of youth which will blossom into secure Catholic womanhood. In our school song we have stressed particularly the virtues of nobility idealism and fidelity These are typified by our familiar school colors of purple white and gold which in completion of our theme we have used on the cover of this yearbook Our teachers who have been our guiding forces in the past four years have cultivated these ideals in us We shall always remember and be grateful to them but espe cially will we remember our dear parents Always eager to help us they trained directed and comforted us through our youth It is with hearts filled with apprecia tive thanks that we dedicate this yearbook to them our cherished parents elutatuzm to nur parents f-W rags?
