The season began like a dream; four wins and no losses. Suddenly all went black — the sky that is. The rains set in and forced the team Inside. This gave them time to reminisce about their weekend in East- mont, Wenatchee where they not only practiced their hair- dressing techniques and perfected their bowling scores, but also set goals for the season. Goals continued to be the same, to take league and district and place high in State. The team continues to be young with only 3 return- ing seniors (the last of the buffalos), 7 juniors, 4 sophomores, and 2 lonely freshman. Pg 156) 1. The varsity boys baseball team has a lot of potential. Some of the goals of the team was to teach the boys how to really play the game. Some of the boys gave all they had, or at least they tried. The jamboree was awesome. They won two and lost one. A good success. One of their games got rained out, but they would have won anyway. Good luck, gentlemen, with your future games. 155 BASEBALL
