The French Club had an eventful year. They participated in the Foreign Language Fair on March 1, which was a fund-raising effort. Another fund-raiser considered was a complete French din- ner available to the public. The money was raised for the members to go to a French restaurant in the area, and also to participate in other French activities such as plays etc. This year, the club con- sisted of 70 members including these 5 officers: President Jennifer Marshall, Vice President Shannon Dunn, Secretary Nicolle Cordall, Treasurer JoAnn Musgrave, and Business Manager Lisa Tillman. This year ' s German club did very well in the sales of gummy creatures. Under the lead of tht new German teacher, Robert Baumann, the group enjoyed an authentic German dinner and t relaxing day hike. Mr Baumann, a veteran German teacher of eight years at Lakeside school it Seattle, came to Mount Si High in October to take the place of Mr. Tilton as head of the Germat Department.
