Ski Club made its way to the top of the hill. Directors, Mr. John Roeber and Mr. Tim Berndtwork- ed to assist the students in fun- ding the trips up to the pass. Ski Club planned to go to Alpen- tal seven times. Each member on- ly paid three dollars a trip for driver and bus. Mr. Roeber was very excited about the club, especially after there was no snow last year. President Laurie Hindes thought the ski program was better this year because they had snow! The thirty-five members show- ed a willingness to help earn money by helping sell programs at school events and holding car washes. ln total, the club paid around nine hundred dollars towards the expenses of its members. Laurie Hindes adds, lt was a lot cheaper for us to go skiing. Ski Club members and directors were pro- ud that they could keep the costs down. 1. Mr. Marion stated that the officers and other individuals in the club were very outstanding. They all worked together and did a terrific job. ln the club, groups pursue com- mon interests such as: pure mathematics, applications, games, and computer program- ming. They also entered into con- tests. One was National Mu Alpha Theta Co-sponsor National Math. The club has a general meeting about every month.
