The officers for Math Club were: President Greg Dickman, Vice-President John Gephart, and SecretaryfTreasurer Colleen Boyce. Mr. Marion stated that the officers and other individuals in the club were very outstanding. They all worked together and did a terrific job. ln the club, groups pursue com- mon interests such as: pure mathematics, applications, games, and computer program- ming. They also entered into con- tests. One was National Mu Alpha Theta Co-sponsor National Math. The club has a general meeting about every month. On their own time they would often meet dur- ing second lunches. A few goals they made were to increase in each member the en- joyment of mathematics and to offer mathematical experiences not otherwise available. Also an activity they had was to go to four math contests through the year. 1. Math Club poses for a group picture.
