Through a panel discussion and student hody assemhly the students were encouraged to laegin at the local level hy discussing their prohlems first at the indif vidual home room meetings. From these meetings. representatives were ahly equipped to laring the students' wishes to the attention of the council. Among the projects of the year were the purchasing of new steel laleachers for the foothall field. helping with the financing of the foothall and haskethall hanquets. coop' erating with the purchase of dishes. and encouraging good conduct in the rumpus room. Homecoming. a successful affair. was sponsored hy the student government group. A rousing pep assemhly on Thursday night initiated the festivities. The celelaration drew to a climax after the victory over Bellevue followed lay the Homecoming Dance in the gym.
