Principal's Message As you join the proud ranks of the M.SJ. Alum- ni, now numbering over 3.000, I hope that your many experiences and associations at the Academy have made a vital contribution to your intellectual, spiritual and personal growth over the four years. Our dedicated faculty have given generously of themselves on your behalf. May the quality of edu- cation they have provided and the Christian atmo- sphere they have inspired help you to prepare for a life of Christian commitment and personal fulfill ment. Sincerely yours.

Editor's Message When we started this project in the fall, we didn’t fully under- stand the problems that we were to face. In an undertaking such as this, there must be true cooperation in organizing the publication and sponsoring fund-raising projects to defray its costs. Fortu- nately, we didn’t have to face these problems alone. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to our Editorial Board advi- sors, Sr. Mary Harvey and Sr. Anne O'Rourke and the members of the Editoral Board. Sincere thanks are offered to John W. Garofano, our Business Board moderator and his Board for their assistance in the monetary matters. We also thank Mr. Norm Porter and Mr. Bill Bartlett for their professional photography, and our own yearbook photographers for their amateur excellence. Finally we wish to express appreciation to Fr. John O'Connell, our stoic principal, and our indescribable faculty. And so, with all this in mind, we present the 1971 MOUNT. Sincerely yours,
”
