I i t t I t I ) i 4 Dedication Although we've only just begun to live,” we wish to stop for a moment to thank someone who will always re- main special to us. Someone who was there to advise and counsel us when we first entered MSJ. And someone who has made us aware, throughout our high school years, that the essence of life exists within the people around us. You have made each of us realize our importance as individuals in the world. You have encouraged us to ac- cept the challenges that confront us and, win or lose, to keep our heads up. It is your spirit of commitment that has helped to keep MSJ alive. And so, as our thanks to you for all you have done for us, we, the class of 1971, dedicate this yearbook, the em- bodiment of our four years at MSJ, to you, Mr. Crandall. Thank you for being there.

Editor's Message When we started this project in the fall, we didn’t fully under- stand the problems that we were to face. In an undertaking such as this, there must be true cooperation in organizing the publication and sponsoring fund-raising projects to defray its costs. Fortu- nately, we didn’t have to face these problems alone. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to our Editorial Board advi- sors, Sr. Mary Harvey and Sr. Anne O'Rourke and the members of the Editoral Board. Sincere thanks are offered to John W. Garofano, our Business Board moderator and his Board for their assistance in the monetary matters. We also thank Mr. Norm Porter and Mr. Bill Bartlett for their professional photography, and our own yearbook photographers for their amateur excellence. Finally we wish to express appreciation to Fr.
