LYNCH Diocesan Superintendent of Schools Monsignor Lynch, who was invested on Dec. 9, 1961. has been diocesan superin- tendent of schools for the past two years. Prior to this position he served at the Mount as an outstanding principal. We will always he indepted to Monsignor for his special interest in our school and the valuable guidance he has given its stu- dents.

We rejoice with you at this achievement and we take this opportunity to extend to you prayerful best wishes for your future endeavors. Before many months have passed, your class group will be spread far and wide. Some will be in college, some will be in service, and others will have taken their places in the business world. Wherever you might be, please try to remember always the ideals which have been given to you at M.S.J. One final bit of advice: a wise saint of many years ago said, “Work as if all de- pended upon you and pray as if all depended upon God.” This combination of work and prayer will surely bring the success which we hope for you as you leave Mount Saint Joseph.
