guardian of the spirit administration and faculty The spirit characteristic of Mount St. Joseph is guided by the priests, Sisters and laymen who are its administrators and teachers. This able and dedicated body gives time and efforts to channel the energies which are the fruits of school spirit into positive contributions towards our growth to Christian maturity. Our Bishop and pastors have always shown a keen and fatherly interest in all that concerns the Academy and its stu- dents. We are most fortunate to have two priest-principals who untiringly direct our scholastic and spiritual advance- ment. Also counted among the guardians of our spirit are nineteen Sisters of St. Joseph and five lay teachers. ln the classroom, they promote our mental growth by careful and conscientious instruction. Extracurricularly, they devote many hours of their free time to advising our activities, sponsoring our organizations and coaching our athletics. We, their pupils, realize and appreciate their endeavors to form us physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually to be- come true and perfect Christians.
