29!English WORDS UNLIMITED Enthusiasm sparks a new learning experience Since last year, the English department has brought in two teachers. Pamela Schilz came in to take on American literature for Nlrs. Thomas and Lou Fagnan came to us second semester last year to lead writing and the RAlVl'S HORN. They make up just part of a staff which is already alive with new ideas and a variety of classes in which to express them. There are now twenty-seven quarter and semester classes in the English curriculum. The students can choose courses in such areas as literature, communications, publications, and drama. lt is this type of enthusiasm in teaching that gets students interested in English as a subject to be learned and enjoyed.
