Regardless of what type of art you liked, there was always some kind of class offered to interest you. Slabs, coils and pinching were some methods students used to make A-ei ,wwgmi we--Qefgi , i-.g . he animals, pots and other things. The potter's wheel was used for a different effect with the pots. Besides ceramics, there were five classes of crafts, and a variety of different art classes. Uhr fa . f. Jail ' C15 Sculpturing is something you don't jump into, Here Kathy Ruiz is trying to imagine her dream sculpture, while Shelly Henry and Celia Grandon talk over their possibilities. C23 In a maze of bottle-creations from craft classes, Charlene Mahoney applies wheat paste for the texture on her candle holders. C35 Sue Haase tries to bring out the same three dimensional effect in her drawing as people do in commercial art and sculpturing, 24!arts and crafts

Visual aids help in learning Resources for teaching and learning are forever changing. New ways and information are always coming about. New books are written, old ones revised and changed. New, modern equip- ment, such as CC television, is used to bring drama to an English class, and the past to a history class. And the desert or moon comes to a science class through films, filmstrips, slides, and tapes. Another change in the resource area is Mrs. Arnold's teaching assistance room where students who are having trouble go to get help. There, a variety of books and other materials are within easy reach for students to use in catching up to and passing areas in which they have had problems. Jim Polhamus concentrates on one of his many duties as an A.V. man.
