Senior girls were nominated for Miss Mount Pleasant High by the senior class. The nom- inees were then voted upon by the student body. Laura Walker was selected Miss Mount Pleasant High. Laura also competed in the Miss Merry Christmas pageant sponsored by Kannapolis Chamber of Commerce. Contestants were judged on beauty and in individual interviews.
